Every treatment checked before it's applied

The advisor recommends, the farm manager schedules the order and the operator records it. At every step the database checks the product against the authorised uses in the MAPA register for that crop and pest: dose, number of applications, interval and pre-harvest interval, plus the operator's licence, the sprayer inspection and the stock.

  • Quantities worked out and a "harvest from" date
  • Warning when the mode of action repeats (IRAC, FRAC, HRAC)
  • Warning if the batches would no longer suit a customer
  • Signed validation, with PDFs of the order and the record

My day · field mode

Designed for work out in the field

On the operator's and farm manager's phone or tablet: today's work on big cards, whether the weather allows spraying and one button to record each job. Nothing to configure.

  • How much to mix

Product, dose and quantity for the area, with the check's warnings.

  • Can we spray?

Wind, delta T and rain hour by hour, with the suitable window.

  • Voice dictation

"I sprayed S-003/02 with…" fills in the form and always asks for confirmation.

  • Harvest from

When the application is recorded, the date from which harvesting is allowed.

  • On-screen signature

The advisor validates the treatment and its effectiveness with a signature.

Compliance

Ready for electronic record-keeping in 2027

From 1 January 2027, plant protection records in Spain must be electronic and machine-readable (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/564 and Royal Decree 1311/2012). Ceres keeps them, checks them against the official MAPA register and produces the farm record in the CUE format, with the SIEX submission ready to go. Ceres helps you comply and keeps the record: each farm and its advisor remain responsible for the data.

Official MAPA register

Authorised uses by crop and pest, with the crop hierarchy: dose, applications, interval and pre-harvest interval.

Pre-harvest interval

A harvest within the interval is rejected, and Ceres says from when it can go ahead.

Tamper-evident records

A SHA-256 hash chain over every entry and the audit trail: any direct edit is detected.

CUE and SIEX

The farm record as CUE JSON (FEGA schema 3.11.4), sealed, with the SIEX submission prepared.

Residues and MRLs

Real EU MRLs in every analysis and each customer's specification: which batches suit them and which don't.

Integrated pest management

IPM justification, thresholds, non-chemical alternatives and mode-of-action rotation.

Licences and inspections

An expired operator licence or a sprayer without a valid inspection stops the treatment from being recorded.

Fertilisation and nitrates

Fertilisation plan by crop, nutrient units and nitrate-vulnerable zone warnings (170 kg N/ha).

External auditor

Read-only profile with export, a score for each farm and recall drills.

Satellite and weather

Every plot's vigour, seen from above

Ceres overlays every SIGPAC plot with Sentinel-2 imagery and warns when part of a plot loses vigour. With the area's real weather it works out the spraying window, the water balance and degree-days.

AI assistant

Claude works with you, under your permissions

Connect Ceres to Claude (claude.ai, desktop, mobile or Claude Code) and just ask: what's on today, what you can use against aphids in organic lettuce without repeating a group, or whether a batch suits a customer. If your profile allows it, Claude also writes to Ceres: it schedules treatments (with the same checks), records field work or updates records.

  • It signs in as you: the database enforces your permissions
  • It only sees your farms and what your profile sees
  • Everything is audited and tagged "Claude"
  • OAuth or a personal key you can revoke with one click

FAQ

What people usually ask us

What is Ceres?

Ceres is digital field record and management software for vegetable growers' cooperatives and their members. A single web application covers the farm record (treatments checked against the official Spanish register of plant protection products, fertilisation, irrigation, field work, crop health and analyses), batch-tracked harvest and warehousing, sales, third-party purchases, member settlements, traceability and compliance. It is designed and developed by fmSuit LLC.

Who is it for?

Vegetable growers' cooperatives and farms that keep the records of their members or their own farm, sell their produce in batches and have to answer their customers on traceability and on each batch's residues. Everyone has a profile: technical director, management, field advisor (IPM), farm manager, sprayer operator, member, warehouse and quality, sales, finance and external auditor.

Does it cover the electronic records required from 2027?

That is what it is built for. From 1 January 2027, plant protection records in Spain must be electronic and machine-readable (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/564 and Royal Decree 1311/2012). Ceres keeps the data in Annex III of Royal Decree 1311/2012, flags anything missing or late and produces the record in the format of the Digital Farm Record (CUE, FEGA schema 3.11.4), with the submission to SIEX prepared for when the regional government authorises the application. Ceres helps you comply and keeps the record; it does not certify anything or replace your advisor.

How does it check treatments?

Against the authorised uses in the official MAPA register of plant protection products for that crop and pest, following the crop and pest hierarchies: dose, number of applications, interval, product still authorised, organic use and specific zones. It also checks the operator's licence, the sprayer inspection (ITEAF), wind, the stock of the lot and the pre-harvest interval, works out quantities and the date from which harvesting is allowed, and warns if the mode of action repeats or if the batches would no longer suit a customer.

How does traceability work?

From a batch, delivery note, plot, treatment or input lot: one step back (farm, SIGPAC plot, treatments with their interval, fertilisation, analyses and supplier) and one step forward (packing, delivery notes, customers and kilos). It includes timed recall drills with their report and a public page for every batch, reached through the QR code on its label.

Can it be tailored to my cooperative?

Yes, and that is what sets us apart: we start from a complete application and adapt it to the way you work. Any screen, field, workflow, document, report or integration can be changed. We look at it with your data, propose the changes with their timing and cost, build and validate them with their tests, and Ceres keeps changing with you.

How does implementation work? Do you import my existing data?

Yes: we bring in the data from what you use today (spreadsheets, notebooks, your current software, your CAP claim and SIGPAC) with an import report: members and farms, plots, crops, people with their licences, machinery, inputs, customers and open orders. Then we configure your cooperative, train each team with its own profile and go live with you, in parallel with your current system if needed.

Can it be used with AI?

Yes. Ceres connects to Claude (claude.ai, desktop, mobile or Claude Code) and each person asks in their own language what's on today, which products they can use against a pest without repeating a group, or whether a batch suits a customer; if their profile allows it, Claude also writes to Ceres. It acts with the user's permissions, only sees their farms and everything is in the audit trail.

Does it work in the field, on a phone?

Yes. It runs in the browser: on the office desktop and on a phone or tablet in the field, with My day in full screen (today's work on big cards, whether the weather allows spraying, and voice dictation). Members check their farm and settlements from their phone. In Spanish, English and Galician, in light and dark mode.

Does each member only see their own data?

Yes. Security is enforced by the database: each member only sees their own farm, advisors see the farms assigned to them, prices, costs and settlements are hidden by permission, also through Claude, and every change is recorded in the audit trail, with a hash chain that detects any direct edit to the records.

Can I try it?

Yes, with no sign-up: the public demo has 10 accounts, one per profile, with the data of a fictitious cooperative (the plant protection products and SIGPAC plots are real) that resets every day at 8:00 (Spain time). The video, the specification, the presentation, the PDF proposal and the 36-chapter user manual are also available.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the scope: what you need, the tailoring and the implementation. Tell us about your cooperative at info@fmsuit.com or on +34 665 692 863 and we will prepare a tailored proposal.
